Privacy Policy

StylishCV provides resume creation, editing, preview, PDF export, public sharing, ATS analysis, and job-match tools. This policy covers personal data processed by the StylishCV website, mobile application, account workspace, public CV pages, and support channels.

Third-party websites or services have their own privacy practices. Their policies apply when you leave StylishCV or complete an action directly with them.

We collect information you provide, information created while you use the service, and limited technical information needed to operate and secure StylishCV.

• Account data: email address, display name, authentication identifiers, language and theme preferences, subscription status, and account settings.
• Resume and profile data: contact details, photo, professional summary, work history, education, skills, languages, achievements, certifications, references, social links, design choices, and other content you choose to add.
• AI feature inputs and results: resume content, job descriptions, ATS reviews, job-match analyses, recommendations, and related usage-limit records.
• Files and media you choose: profile images, supported job-posting files, generated PDFs, and content you explicitly select for upload or export.
• Payment and subscription data: plan, billing provider, transaction or purchase token, country/currency, status, renewal/expiry information, and billing events. We do not receive your full card number from Google Play or Dodo Payments.
• Technical and security data: IP address, device/browser and app information, session identifiers, request and error logs, timestamps, security events, and usage needed to prevent abuse and keep the service reliable.

We process data to provide and improve the features you request, authenticate accounts, synchronize resumes and preferences, render previews and PDFs, maintain subscriptions, respond to support requests, enforce usage limits, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot errors, and comply with legal obligations.

Where required by law, we rely on your consent. Otherwise, processing may be necessary to perform our contract with you, protect our legitimate interests in operating a secure service, or meet legal requirements.

When you start an ATS Check, Job Match, or resume optimization action, relevant resume and job-description content may be sent to our AI service provider to generate the requested analysis. We limit access and use this content to deliver, secure, monitor, and improve the feature. Do not submit information you do not have permission to process.

A CV becomes publicly accessible only when you enable or use a public sharing link. Anyone with that link may view the information included on the public page. Disable the public link or remove sensitive resume content when you no longer want it shared.

We do not sell personal data. We share only what is reasonably necessary with service providers acting for us, when you direct us to share, during a business reorganization, or when required to protect users, enforce our rights, or comply with law.

• Infrastructure, hosting, database, storage, security, monitoring, and support providers.
• Google for Google Sign-In and, on Android, Google Play Billing and subscription management.
• Dodo Payments for web checkout, billing, subscription management, and payment support.
• OpenAI or another disclosed AI processor when you deliberately use an AI-powered feature.
• Authorities or professional advisers when disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights and security.

The Android app requests access only when a feature needs it. For example, you may choose an image for a profile photo, select a supported job-posting file, or choose a device folder for PDF export. StylishCV does not scan unrelated files. Android and Google Play control the permission dialog, and you can change access in your device settings.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including encrypted transport, access controls, authenticated sessions, provider security controls, and monitoring. No method of storage or transmission is completely risk-free.

We retain account and resume data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Operational logs, security records, AI history, and backups are kept only for reasonable operational, security, and recovery periods. Payment and transaction records may be retained longer when tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or other legal obligations require it.

When an account deletion request is verified, we delete or de-identify associated personal data from active systems, subject to limited legal obligations and time-limited backup retention. Public CV links are disabled as part of deletion.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. You can edit or delete resume content inside StylishCV and may contact us for account-level requests. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate contractual and legal safeguards for international transfers.

StylishCV is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum digital-consent age that applies where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children who cannot legally consent. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data improperly.

We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. Continued use after an effective update is subject to the revised policy.
